Last week we celebrated Grandparents Day. Grandparents travelled from near and far to visit us. We started our activities with a song about Mrs Wishy Washy. Mrs Wishy Washy is a character from a big book that we have been reading this term.
A special visitor even came along to see our performance – Can you guess who it was?
Then we went back to our classrooms to do some reading and writing and show our Grandparents our clever work.

Mrs Wishy Washy is one of our favourite big books too. We did lots of role play from this story after our visit to the farm.
It looks as though you all had a fantastic day and it is lovely to see so many happy faces
