The KD kids have been learning how to tell the time. We started by singing along with these `telling the time’ songs.
Then we helped Little Red Riding Hood get home safely by telling the time. Look out for Mr Wolf!
We thought this game was funny because the dragon says the time in another language!
Then we became `Time detectives’. We made our own watches, then went around the class and read the time on our friend’s watches. Each of us had a recording sheet so that we could write down what we discovered. We did a great job!

We made a wrist watch. Other types of clocks are cuckoo clocks that have a little bird that comes out every hour and sundials that use the sun to make a shadow.

We made a watch. Mine said that it was eleven o’clock. An alarm clock and a timer are different types of clocks.
