Hi Rachael,
Thank you for being the first person from 2D to leave a comment in 2013.
I especially like the way that you have answered both of my questions.:)
I really like back to school time because I’m a bit like you – I really miss my friends over the holidays. It is always nice to see all the smiling faces when you get back!
The thing that I’m finding hard about being back at school is getting ready in the morning. My children don’t want to get out of bed and it makes it a bit tricky for me to get organised in time!
Have you been feeling very tired after school? I have!

It sounds like you have been very busy 2D. Keep up the good work and you will have a fantastic year with Ms Dowling and Mrs Parkinson!
P.S. I have been feeling very tired after school too!

The best thing about being back at school is learning new things and seeing my friends.
The only thing that has been hard about being back at school is getting up early in the morning!!!

Hi Ella and Ayla,
I’m so glad that you are happy being back at school with your new teachers and friends. I also think that it is funny that 2D has lots of people who like to have a sleep in!
Thanks for letting me know that doubles is tricky Ayla. I think we will have to do plenty of practice.

Hi! 2D,
It sounds like you have had an awesome start to your year.
My class has being learning about each other too. Ms Dowling is so lucky to have a class of persistent learners.
I do love the clip of Ormie the pig! He really wants to get the biscuit doesn’t he.
What do I like about being back at school? I love seeing my class every day.
What have I found hard? Sometimes it is really had to concentrate when it is hot.
I hope you have a great year.

Hi 2D
That is the funniest movie clip I have seen in a long time – I really did enjoy it.
I wonder if I showed the children the first image of Ormie the pig and the fridge with the cookies up high what creative ideas they would come up with? Do you think they would be as creative as Ormie?
I can’t wait to show Room 14 children the clip at school tomorrow. I can just image their laughter now! I think I will have to put that one on our blog too! Thanks for sharing
We have been learning about persistence, determination and a don’t give up attitude too. Ms Dowling said that you have been watching the “Will I am” clip. Have you seen Bruno Mars and Sesame Street singing “Don’t give up”?
We love that one too!
We look forward to keeping in touch with you over the year.

Hi!
We really liked watching the movie. He kept on trying and didn’t give up.
We have thought of some ideas as to how Ormie can get out of the bowl –
He could use his muscles to smash the bowl. By Johnathan.
He could use a hammer. By Kate. (But he would have to be careful!)
He could run into the fridge. By Darryl
He could cut the glass. By Shanil.
How do you think Ormie could escape the bowl?
