We have had a very busy start to the year!

The 2D kids didn’t waste any time settling back into school.

We have spent  time ……

- getting to know each other

- establishing class routines

- reading

- writing

- counting

- problem solving

- doing sport

…….and just having fun in our new classroom!

One thing that Ms Dowling and Mrs Parkinson have noticed about 2D is that the kids are really persistent learners.  This means that when things get a bit difficult they don’t just give up, they keep trying.  In fact, when they come across a problem that they need to solve, they don’t just try one way, they keep trying different ways until they find a solution! Sometimes they arrive at a solution quickly and sometimes it takes a long time but they never stop trying.  Ms Dowling showed 2D this video about a funny little pig called ‘Ormie’ who is very persistent as well!
