Spelling City
Each week the children in 2D have a new list of spelling words. Part of homework for the week is to learn them. If you visit this great site you will find some fun games to help you.
1) Click on the image to take you the 2D Spelling City Homepage.
2) Click on your group and the correct week. 
3) Choose `Play a game’.
4) Work through each of the activities. You might like to pick a different one each night.
4) When you think you know your list words then take the `spelling test’.
5) You can easily find spelling city by visiting the homework tab at the top of the page.

Hi Shaylee,
I’m glad you have been to visit `Spelling City’ and try out some of the games. The hang mouse game is certainly a fun one, I like the way he runs over to take a piece of cheese. I think my favourite game is the one called `Test and Teach’ where you have to spell the word correctly to blow up the dynamite. It really makes you work hard to remember the correct spelling because you have to type it in.
Do you think it would be a good idea to try a different game every night to help you learn your words?

Hi Shaylee,
You are becoming a real blogger! You wrote a great comment and then when I replied with a question you wrote answered and asked me a question. That is a really great way to start a conversation! My favourite game is the one where you have to spell the words and try to blow up the mountain by spelling them correctly. I wonder how many other people like that game best?
